We’re excited to share a big update: Farm City Supply’s store makeover is officially complete!
While we remained open throughout the remodel, our team spent the past several months creating a more open shopping experience, expanding product selections, and making it easier to find what you need.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support and patience of our customers and community throughout the process. To celebrate, we recently welcomed customers, friends, and community members to see the updates and help us mark this exciting milestone.
Keep scrolling to see before-and-after photos, celebration highlights, and a look at the history that continues to shape Farm City Supply today.
A Family-Owned Business Since 1989
For more than 35 years, Farm City Supply has been a part of the Breckenridge community. What started as a family-owned business in 1989 has grown alongside the families, farms, ranches, and businesses it serves every day.
Over the years, many things have changed, but one thing has remained the same: a commitment to helping neighbors find what they need and providing the kind of service that keeps people coming back.
Today, Farm City Supply continues that tradition under the leadership of Kelly and Alison Voss, building on the values and relationships that have made the store a trusted part of the community for generations.
What Changed? Step Inside the Store Transformation!
The remodel brought many changes to the store, but not to its values. Farm City Supply remains the same family-owned business, committed to helping our customers and serving our community. The biggest changes came to the shopping experience itself:
- Relocated checkout counters
- Longer aisles and additional shelf space
- Expanded hardware and fastener selections
- More paint supplies and spray paint options
- Expanded tool department featuring additional Milwaukee and DeWalt cordless tools
- New hand tool options, including Johnson levels, Milwaukee tape measures, and utility knives
- Expanded safety PPE section with more hearing and eye protection choices
- Additional plumbing products, including Kohler faucets, shower heads, and repair parts
- New products and expanded inventory throughout nearly every department
The result is a store with more room, more products, and an even better shopping experience! A look behind the scenes:
Looking back on the remodel, we asked the Farm City Supply team what has been the most rewarding part of the experience so far:
“The most rewarding part of this whole experience has been hearing the positive feedback from customers that they like the new layout and are impressed with the amount of new products we’ve added! Several customers have commented that the store feels more open as you walk in, and they like being able to see everything. It’s been rewarding to be able to answer “YES. We have that.” when customers ask for new products and we have them!”
Celebrating With the Community
The remodel may have transformed the store, but the people who walked through the doors are what made the celebration special.
We were so grateful to spend the day with customers, family, friends, and the community that has supported us throughout the years. From a ribbon cutting with the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Area Chamber to donuts, pulled pork sandwiches, and in-store giveaways, we had a blast celebrating with everyone.
This community is the reason we do what we do, so thank you to everyone who stopped by. If you missed the event, we hope you’ll stop in soon and check out the remodel!
Whether you’re looking for farm supplies, hardware, lawn and garden products, workwear, housewares, or everyday essentials, we’d love to help you find what you need.
